The highlight was undoubtedly the onsen, providing an inviting soak that felt refreshingly intimate, a perfect way to unwind after the busyness of Tokyo. The owner was a true gem, always eager to advise us on local culinary delights and the best sights to see, making our first visit to this gorgeous region even more enriching. This ryokan embodies the warmth of a family-run establishment, and I can't wait to return for a longer stay to fully embrace the tranquil surroundings and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience traditional Japanese charm without losing comfort!
